Haldi is a quintessential spice found in every household and often used in cuisines, as a cosmetic, dye, in religious observances.
We source our Haldi from the town of Baijnath in the Kangra valley of Himachal. Ladies at our village use the traditional cold grinding method using ‘Imam Dasta’ ensuring Haldi retains its essential oils and beneficial nutrients along with its natural aroma and taste.
Curcumin an ingredient of Haldi is highly therapeutic because of its immunity boosting, anti-oxidant properties and often used in the composition of many traditional remedies for weight loss, rheumatoid arthritis, controlling diabetes, treating cervical cancers among many other benefits.
